HOPE is a nonprofit that relies on donations from businesses, individuals and fundraisers for 75% of its funding, the remainder coming from lessons. We do not receive any Federal or State funding. You may sponsor a student, sponsor a horse, make a monetary donation, have your employer match your monetary donation, donate used tack, donate a horse or allow one of your horses to be used in HOPE lessons, or donate other goods and services. HOPE provides a tax receipt for all donations.

HOPE’s sponsors receive special placement of their business name and logo on our website and social media, and at higher levels, on banners displayed during special public events. Levels begin at $100 per year, fully tax-deductible. Ask today how we can honor your business, as you help HOPE.

Throughout the year, HOPE holds fun events to help raise money for the many expenses we have in caring for our horses and other program costs. Check our Calendar on the Events page, and join our mailing list to be notified of our next CAR WASH, RAFFLE, or AUCTION!

Did you know that HOPE will take your used tack and horse equipment in good condition, and furnish a tax receipt for your donation? Whatever we can't use in our program, we clean up and sell on consignment. With that money, we can buy equipment to help our program grow — saddles in all shapes and sizes, a bridle, halter and grooming kit for each horse, and so much more!

While a HOPE’s tuition of $390.00 per 6-week session is charged to students, the actual cost is over $750. The majority of our student population is unable to pay this fee. It is HOPE's desire to make lessons available to everyone regardless of ability to pay. To that end we offer scholarships, based on need.
Please help our riders by sponsoring one or more students. Due to confidentiality requirements we are not able to provide you information on the student benefiting from your donation.

The average cost to maintain one of the HOPE horses starts at $7,600 a year, or over $600 per month. That figure covers just the routine costs of feed, farriers, board, hauling, and scheduled vet and dental visits. Special feed, and emergency vet calls can add so much more to the total cost. YOUR EARMARKED DONATION toward these expenses helps keep our herd healthy and happy!
HOPE currently owns three horses, and pays to LEASE tried-and-true, reliable horses from our community on a per-day basis for use in our lessons. If you have a calm horse that could be available for use in our Wednesday lessons, please contact us for more details and to schedule an evaluation. Hauling by HOPE staff may also be an option.

Here is an easy way to increase your donation to HOPE: ask your employer if they will match any monetary donation you give to HOPE. If your employer does have a corporate matching program but HOPE is not yet on its lists of approved organizations, please let us know and we will contact that employer to see what we can do to get HOPE approved.

HOPE greatly appreciates unrestricted gifts that may be used for any of our expenses. While grant makers often fund specific needs such as student scholarships and horse hauling costs, they rarely fund operating expenses. Remember, as is true with most other therapeutic riding centers, the fee of $65 per session only covers a portion of the cost of providing therapeutic riding. The rest must be raised through grants, fundraising events and individual donations like yours. We appreciate your generous support!
